the horse

I went to Finders Keepers markets at Carriage works a couple of weeks ago and discovered local shoe company, The Horse, creative brainchild of Gabrielle and Scott. Their shoes are whimsical and lovely, I want them all.. along with the wall of plates in the photograph above!

shoes of the rainbow

If Pantone made love with a shoe, this would be their child. I found these shoes while browsing The Cool Hunter today. They're the brainchild of Tim & Fiona Slack (T&F Slack) in London, and they are the epitome of style. I'm sure they come in girl sizes, right?

gorman a/w 2011

I love it when an Autumn/Winter collection is filled with bold colour and pattern. With burnt orange, rich navy, polkadots and stripes, who wouldn't want to run around, dry leaves crunching under their Gorman boots?

the wanderer

Yesterday I went window shopping... and then I saw One Teaspoon. A whole shop of it. I walked in warning "you are not allowed to let me try anything or buy it." That lasted about a metre, and an hour later walked out with a silk hawaiian shirt, olive silk dress with vintage diamontes and a lace bra. Check out their website and you'll understand what went so wrong (and how I got it so right).
